Refund & Cancellation Policy

This Refund & Cancellation Policy explains how cancellations and refunds work for purchases made in the Focido app.

1) Purchases are processed by Apple and Google

Focido offers in-app purchases (such as Pro subscription) that are processed by:

  • Apple App Store (iOS)
  • Google Play (Android)

Important: Apple and Google are the merchants of record for these purchases. That means cancellations and refunds are handled under Apple’s or Google’s policies and processes, and not directly by Focido.


2) How to cancel a subscription

You can cancel your subscription at any time through your platform account settings:

  • iOS (Apple App Store): Manage your subscription in your Apple ID subscription settings.
  • Android (Google Play): Manage your subscription in your Google Play subscriptions settings.

Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period. You will continue to have access to Pro features until your paid period ends, unless the store processes a refund that ends access earlier.


3) How to request a refund

Refund eligibility and timelines depend on the store, your region, and the purchase type.

  • iOS (Apple App Store): Refund requests must be submitted to Apple, and Apple decides whether to approve.
  • Android (Google Play): Refund requests must be submitted to Google, and Google decides whether to approve.

If you believe you were charged incorrectly, experienced a technical issue, or made a purchase by mistake, you can also contact us at [email protected]. We may help you identify the relevant transaction and guide you through the store’s refund flow, but we cannot guarantee the outcome because the final decision is made by the store.


4) EU/EEA consumer rights (important note)

If you are an EU/EEA consumer, you may have certain mandatory consumer rights. However, because purchases are processed by Apple/Google, refund handling and eligibility are governed by their processes and any applicable law.

In many cases, when you start using digital services immediately after purchase, certain withdrawal rights may be limited. Your platform’s purchase flow may require you to acknowledge this.


5) Trials and promotions

If we offer free trials or promotional pricing:

  • A trial may automatically convert to a paid subscription unless you cancel before the trial ends.
  • Promotional pricing, durations, and eligibility are defined in the offer details shown at purchase time.

6) Chargebacks and payment disputes

If you initiate a chargeback with your payment provider, it may result in loss of access to Pro features and may affect your ability to make future purchases through the store.


7) Operational support (how we help)

While Apple/Google control cancellations and refunds, Focido Support can help you troubleshoot and navigate the process, including:

  • Subscription status checks: helping confirm whether Pro is active, expired, or billed through Apple/Google.
  • Receipt and transaction lookup: helping you find the relevant order/transaction identifiers needed for a store refund request.
  • Entitlement troubleshooting: if Pro features don’t unlock, we can guide steps such as restoring purchases, verifying account state, and checking store entitlement sync.
  • Escalation when appropriate: in cases of technical malfunction or suspected fraud, we may review account and purchase signals to provide supporting context for your request to the store.

We do not promise specific response times or refund outcomes, because refund decisions are made by Apple/Google and depend on their policies, regional rules, and your purchase history.


8) Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date reflects the effective date.
