If you’re new here, Focido is a social to-do app where your goals live in a simple feed and real people help nudge you toward follow-through. That’s why version 1.5.3 focuses on usability, speed, and trust. It improves how people find motivators, how comments behave, how the app starts, and how key account and onboarding screens respond in real life, on real devices, with real thumbs.
Better experience in Find Motivators
One of the most useful improvements in Focido 1.5.3 is in Find Motivators. You can now view profiles before inviting someone, which makes the whole process feel more natural and less random.
That matters because choosing a motivator is not a tiny detail. In Focido, the human side is the product. When people can quickly understand who they are inviting, they make better decisions and feel more confident about starting that connection.
We also made the invite button bigger. Tiny change? Technically yes. In actual use, though, small interface fixes often do the heavy lifting. They reduce hesitation, make actions more obvious, and help the app get out of the user’s way.
Faster comments, less confusion
Comments are now much smoother in version 1.5.3. After posting, the comment count updates instantly, so the app reflects what just happened right away instead of leaving people in that weird “did it work?” limbo.
The send button now also shows progress while a comment is being posted. On top of that, duplicate comments are prevented, which means fewer accidental double-posts and a cleaner interaction overall.
This stuff may sound small on paper, but it changes the feeling of the product. When feedback is immediate and actions are visible, the app feels more trustworthy. And trust is a huge part of motivation, because nobody wants friction when they’re already trying to build momentum.
Faster startup, clearer limits
Focido now launches faster, which is one of those improvements people notice without always naming it. A motivation app should not feel sleepy when you open it. If someone is ready to act, even a short delay can break the mood.
We also improved what happens when a user hits the task limit. Instead of failing silently, the app now shows an upgrade dialog, which is simply clearer and more respectful. People should never have to guess whether something broke, whether they tapped wrong, or whether the app just ghosted them.
That same principle applies across the product. Focido is designed to be lightweight and intentional, not noisy or overwhelming, so when limits, prompts, and actions are clear, the whole experience feels more human.
Fixes that make daily use feel better
Version 1.5.3 also fixes premium status persisting after logout. Account behavior should be predictable, and this update makes that part cleaner and more reliable.
Android users also get an important onboarding fix: the registration screen no longer gets overlapped by system buttons. That first app experience matters a lot more than people think. If registration feels awkward, even good products can lose people before the relationship starts.
