There’s a special kind of pain in productivity apps:
You tap “Done”.
You feel relief.
Two minutes later you realize… you didn’t actually do it.
Nobody wants to lie to themselves. But when you’re tired, rushed, or overwhelmed, it happens.
Focido exists because real people help us follow through. Not AI quotes. Not “grind harder” vibes. Real human nudges at the right time.
So in v0.3.5, we focused on the final mile: the finish.
A better “Done”
Finish task confirmation adds a small moment of intention before completion.
It’s not there to annoy you.
It’s there to reduce accidental taps and “wishful completion”.
That tiny pause changes the tone from “checkbox game” to “real action”.
Repeat what works, instantly
If you completed something and want to do it again, you can now copy a completed task with all its data.
This is for habits that you actually want to keep: workouts, outreach, learning sessions, weekly routines.
Less retyping. More repeating.
Nudges feel more like a conversation
Before, nudges could feel one-sided: you get nudged, you do the thing, end of story.
Now you can reply to your motivator’s nudges directly.
A simple “starting now” or “done” makes accountability feel mutual.
And it helps motivators know their nudge landed.
Celebrations that don’t feel cringe
We added sprint result dialogs to celebrate league promotions with animations.
Not confetti spam, just a clean “you earned this” moment.
Plus we added Lottie animations for:
- task completion
- motivator milestones
It’s subtle, but it helps the brain register progress.
Make helpful motivators visible
After completing a task with a motivator, you can now rate your motivator with stars.
Good support deserves recognition.
And over time, ratings help us build a healthier motivator ecosystem.
Fixes we shipped too
- Fixed button text overflow in task completion dialogs
- League images now show in sprint result notifications
- Fixed an iOS crash related to camera permissions
Try v0.3.5
If you try this update, the one question we care about:
Does “confirm before done” make you more honest… or does it feel like friction?
